Lemongrass Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 chicken thighs, cut into pieces
  • Moderate amount of cooking oil
  • 2 stalks lemongrass, flattened and finely chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • A little ginger slices
  • 1 tbsp Hand Flower Brand King Soy Sauce
  • A little Hand Flower Brand Sesame Oil
  • Half a cup of water
  • A little Hand Flower Brand Cooking Caramel.

Marinade

  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp Hand Flower Brand King Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp cooking wine
  • A little pepper

Add marinade to the chicken pieces, mix well, marinate for half an hour and set aside.

Heat oil and sauté the onion, minced garlic and ginger until fragrant, then add the marinated chicken pieces and stir fry for a while.

Add soy sauce and sesame oil and stir fry for a while, then add lemongrass and water, cover and simmer for 7 minutes on low heat after the water boils.

Add in dark soy sauce and stir-fry until the juice is thickened. Serve on a plate.
